TRAINING & FAMILY PREPAREDNESS
Training & Family Preparedness are the backbone of the discipline of Emergency Management. This involves training civic groups, schools and the general public in ways to protect themselves during large scale emergencies & disasters, and also ways to help others during these situations.
The Emergency Management Division staff provides training and planning assistance to facilities and civic groups throughout Monroe County.
