SPECIAL EVENT USE PERMIT

Permits for special events at County Parks are subject to review and approval by the Monroe County Parks & Recreation Commission. Meetings of the Commission take place the 1st Monday of each month. Applicants are encouraged to submit requests sixty (60) days prior to the date of the event. The County of Monroe reserves the exclusive right to grant, deny or cancel special event permits.
Applicants must supply the information requested above. Insurance certificates naming the County of Monroe as an additional insured will be required prior to approval being granted. Other regulatory approvals including but not limited to the Health Department is the responsibility of the applicant to secure and provide proof of approval.
Applicants submitting applications must be 18 years of age.
