Monroe County Comprehensive Plan 2010 update
 

In accordance with the Michigan Planning Enabling Act (PA 33 of 2008), the Monroe County Planning Commission is hereby distributing copies of the officially adopted Monroe County Comprehensive Plan . 

The purpose of the plan update is to document and study current land use trends, and to present a comprehensive set of recommendations for the direction of land use and development in the County of Monroe, Michigan. 

It is hoped that the recommendations of the County Plan will be of use to the local units of government within the County, as well as our neighboring units, in the promotion of sustainable, harmonious and compatible development.
