I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am the newly appointed Health Officer/Director for the Monroe County Health Department. I come to this position with 13 years of Public Health experience with the Monroe County Health Department and have worked in various programs as either a Public Health Nurse or as manager of several programs including Clinical Services, Family Planning, Maternal Health, Children's Special Health Care, to name a few.

I live in Monroe County and have raised two children here. I take great pride in this community and believe it is a wonderful place to live, work and play. I am honored to be in a position to lead this important and valued agency in Monroe County.
