Administrative Major

The Administrative Major shall be responsible for the coordination and control of the financial and personnel functions within the Sheriff's Office.
Among these functions are:
Personnel/Purchasing
Inventory Management
Emergency Management

This division also encompasses the oversight of officers assigned to specialized units including the Office of Monroe Narcotics Investigations (OMNI) and the Drug Enforcement Agency.  Others include the training officers for both the Law Enforcement and Correction Divisions.  This office also oversees the Evidence Coordinator and the civilian assigned to provide technical support with the information systems.

The Administrative Captain reports to the Major with respect to the following functions.

Perimeter Security
Civil Division
Marine Division
Underwater Recovery
Reserve Officers
Mounted Division
