District Three is headquartered in the Dundee Township Hall at 179 E. Main St. Dundee.  We also have a substation located in the City of Petersburg.  Deputy Sheriffs assigned to these offices provide police services on a contract basis to the City of Petersburg.  The district is comprised of Dundee, Summerfield, Milan, London, and Exeter Townships.
Cabela's, Michigan's most popular tourist attraction is located in the Village of Dundee.  US-23 and M-50 is also a major artery for tourists traveling to Michigan international Speedway.  These two major tourist attractions have brought much growth to this area of the county.  The Monroe County Sheriff's Office employs high visibility patrol techniques to try to assure travelers of a safe and enjoyable trip through our county.  This includes the use of Police motorcycle patrols as well as the use of the "Bat Mobile" a mobile Breathalyzer unit employed in high traffic periods for alcohol enforcement.  In addition to the motorcycle we also utilize bicycle patrol in the City of Petersburg.  District officers are also encouraged to visit businesses and schools, and participate in community events, which allow them to get to know the citizens of the district.  Citizens with concerns or questions are encouraged to call or stop by the district substation.
