Divisions - What We Do 

Administrative Division
Responsible for the coordination and control of the financial and  personnel functions within the Sheriff's Office.

Citizen Assistance Responders
Is a 24-7 operation staffed with 80 uniformed officers specifically to provide basic police and emergency services. 

District One
Is Headquartered at 2979 Nadeau Road and is comprised of Ash, Berlin, Frenchtown, Monroe and Raisinville Townships. 

District Two
Is Headquartered behind the Bedford Township Hall and is comprised of LaSalle, Ida, Whiteford, Bedford and Erie Townships.

District Three
Is Headquartered in the Dundee Twp Hall and is comprised of Dundee, Summerfield, Milan, London and Exeter townships.

Traffic Services Division
Primary responsibility is to enforce traffic laws on Monroe County's secondary roads.  This unit also investigates all serious motor vehicle crashes. 

Detective Bureau
This bureau is charged with investigating all serous & complex crimes and to provide investigative support to the uniformed division.

Youth Services
This division is charged with the investigation of crimes related to juveniles.  Officers assigned to this division  also participate in pro-active programs for youth.

Marine Unit
This division is responsible for patrolling and enforcing statutes on the waterways of Monroe County including western Lake Erie.  Officers also provide livery inspections, and conduct boating safety classes.
