Responsibilities
Monroe County employs more than 500 employees. The Human Resources Department is responsible for:
- Human resource planning, recruitment, and selection
- Human resource development
- Compensation and benefits
- Safety and health
- Employee and labor relations
We serve the Board of Commissioners as the primary department responsible to develop, implement and interpret personnel policies that are consistent with the needs and objectives of the County of Monroe.
