The Monroe County Health Department offers Monroe County residents a free one-time newborn home visit by an experienced registered nurse after the delivery of your baby. An assessment of your baby's overall health will be completed, along with discussing safe sleep, assess nutritional needs, review growth and development, and how to care for your baby and much more. Every new baby's parent in Monroe County is eligible for this free program.
