Now Accepting Some Private Insurance. It is recommended prior to clinic appointment to inquire if services are a covered benefit by local Health Department.

Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs):
Provides the following services related to infections transmitted by sexual contact:

  • Testing and diagnosis of chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis; Hepatitis C tested with qualifying factors
  • Treatment
  • Counseling/education

  • Anonymous and confidential
  • Rapid test results
  • Court ordered testing available
  • Referrals to other resources
  • By appointment on 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month


In recognition of National HIV Testing Day in June, the Monroe County Health Department is offering a free, anonymous HIV Testing Clinic on Thursday, June 24! Walk-ins and appointments will be available from 9:00-11:30 AM & 1:30-4:00 PM - Call (734) 240-7840 to schedule in advance.
